At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Carry out the coding and parameterisation of sensors and actuators.
  • Carry out one or more searches for information on a multiplexed circuit equipped with sensors and actuators in order to create a diagnostic.
  • Read and clear faults after carrying out repairs.
  • Understand the functionalities.

Program

1. OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND SELF-DIAGNOSTIC

2. FEATURES OF THE TOOL, INCLUDING TECHNICAL DATA AND VARIOUS OPTIONS
  • Identify systems – Read fault codes – Vehicle check-up – Vehicle maintenance – Parameters – ECU info – Activations – Settings – Device checks – Electrical diagrams integrated into the software used.
3. DIAGNOSTICS FOR COMBUSTION ENGINES
  • Using the device – Learn how to check the correct operation of the various sensors and actuators that make up the combustion engine management system.
  • Configuration and calibration of the various sensors and actuators.
  • Study of the injector coding procedure.
4. ADBLUE EGR AND SCR POLLUTION CONTROL (EXHAUST AFTER-TREATMENT)
  • Use the device to check that the various sensors and actuators that make up the exhaust after-treatment management system are working properly.
  • Perform a forced regeneration.
5. MANAGEMENT OF AUTOMATED GEARBOXES
  • Check that sensors and actuators are working properly.
  • Calibrate clutches and gears.
6. PRACTICAL APPLICATION ON DIFFERENT MULTIPLEXED MACHINES DEPENDING ON THE SYSTEM’S CAPABILITIES
  • Visualisation and identification of components and their function.
  • Practical use depending on equipment availability.
  • Different settings – Calibration.
  • Coding will only be carried out where possible on the equipment provided and according to availability.
