  • Batteries and chargers: Overview of the main technologies – Advantages/Disadvantages.
  • Fuel cells: From stack to system.
  • Variable speed drives and motors: Overview of the main technologies – Advantages/Disadvantages.
  • Converters and inverters: Overview of the main types of converters and inverters.
  • Gearboxes: Overview of the main technologies, advantages/disadvantages.
3. ASSEMBLING THE COMPONENTS TO FORM A FUNCTIONAL SYSTEM
  • The different types of electrification: Hybrid – Bi-mode – Electric.
  • The problems associated with the electrification of vehicles and the solutions provided.
  • The key points for assessing the technical and economic viability of an electrification project.
4. RISKS AND REGULATORY CONSTRAINTS
