- BASIC CONCEPTS OF MECHANICS AND HYDRAULICS
- General principles – Similarity to mechanical drives.
- Differentiation between open and closed circuits.
- Pressure – Force – Flow – Speed – Efficiency – Power.
- PRINCIPLES OF COMPONENT CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION / SYMBOLISATION
- High-speed fixed-displacement pumps and motors: Gears, vanes, axial pistons.
- Pressure devices and their functions: Pressure limiter, reducer, balancing valve.
- Flow meters and their functions: Flow limiters, Regulators.
- Distribution: Direct action, pilot-operated action, on/off control.
- Blocking valve: Non-return valves – Parachute valves.
- Symbolisation and application diagrams.
- DEMONSTRATIONS OF FIXED DISPLACEMENT CIRCUITS ON POWER SIMULATORS
- Drive system for cylinder or motor.
- Identifying symbols – Reading application diagrams
- Study of operation – Connection of circuits – Implementation – Settings.

- HY1 SAFETY: MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS ON SAFE (LOCKED-OUT) MACHINES / INSTALLATIONS
