2. REFRESHER ON THE BASICS
- Flow speed – Nominal diameter – Module – Pressure drop – Operating pressure, etc.
3. RIGID PIPES
- Tubes: Types – Standards – Composition – Characteristics – Conditions of use.
- Connections: Characteristics – Cutting ring – Flaring – Soldering tip, etc.
- Installation – Common types – Adapters.
- Flanges: Characteristics – Application – Common types – Joints – Welded – Threaded, etc.
- Rigid pipe assembly and testing: Length – Bending – Expansion – Fixing – Connection – Precautions – Procedure Storage.
4. FLEXIBLE PIPES
- Hoses: Types – Standards – Construction – Characteristics – Conditions of use.
- End fitting: Characteristics – Application – Common types – Adapters – Press-fit – Screwed – Crimped, etc.
- Fitting and testing flexible pipes: Precautions – Storage procedure – Length – Bending radius – Fixing Connection etc.
5. APPLICATION TO MACHINE PIPING
- Identifying the path.
- Sizing tubes and pipes.
- Definition of fittings and end fittings.
- Preparation – Bending – Cutting – Crimping
