Discover Mobile hydraulics

Objectives

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of hydraulic systems.
  • Understand how hydraulic components work.
  • Read a simple diagram.

Program

1. HY1 SAFETY: MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS ON SAFE (LOCKED-OUT) MACHINES / INSTALLATIONS
  • Dismantling or reassembling components (cylinders – pressure limiters – pumps, etc.).
  • Replacement of sealing elements – Connection – Filters
  • Draining or filling the tank.
2. BASIC CONCEPTS OF MECHANICS AND HYDRAULICS
  • General principles – Similarity to mechanical drives.
  • Differentiation between open and closed circuits.
  • Origin of pressure and flow – Relationship between pressure, force and flow – Speed: Distinction between force and speed problems.
3. PRINCIPLES OF COMPONENT CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION / SYMBOLISATION
  • High-speed fixed-displacement pumps and motors: Gears – Vanes – Axial pistons.
  • Pressure devices and traditional applications: Load limitation on the generator and receiver sides – Retention of driving loads (balancing valves).
  • Flow meters and traditional applications: Cumulative movement – Movement priority – Speed adjustment.
  • Distribution: Progressive type open centre – Pressure spool and flow spool concept (Load-Sensing) -On/Off control.
  • Receivers: “Orbit” type slow-speed motors / cylinders.
  • Open-centre hydrostatic steering.
  • Symbolisation and application diagrams.
4. ASSEMBLY CLEANLINESS
  • Fluids: Nature – Classification – Characteristics.
  • Introduction to filtration.
  • Pollution: Sources – Remedies.
5. BUILDING BASIC CIRCUITS ON POWER SIMULATORS
  • Drive system for cylinder or motor.
  • Identification of symbols – Basics of reading application diagrams – Study of operating phases – Connection of circuits – Implementation.
