Objectives
At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:
- Analyse the hydraulic risks associated with the project.
 - Prepare and carry out preventive maintenance.
 - Check and adjust pressure and flow valves.
 
Program
1. HY2 SAFETY: INTERVENTIONS ON MACHINES / INSTALLATIONS THAT ARE NOT LOCKED OUT
- Performance control – Adjustment – Sampling.
 - Sub-assembly exchange (Directional control valves – Hydraulic power unit, etc.).
 - Separation – Tagout.
 
2. CHECKING AND ADJUSTING PRESSURE AND FLOW DEVICES
- Choice of measurement points.
 - Use of measuring equipment: Pressure gauge – Flow meter – Thermometer.
 - Adjustment procedures.
 - Mistakes to avoid.
 - Frequency of checks.
 
3. BUILDING CIRCUITS ON POWER SIMULATORS
- Checking pumps and motors (efficiency).
 - Checking cylinders (leaks).
 - Diagram analysis – Circuit connection – Start-up – Settings – Study of operating phases.
 - Checks and adjustments on circuits with fixed displacement pumps: Cylinder control (resisting or driving loads)
 - Motor control – Flow regulator and divider – 6/3 directional control valve and load-sensing open centre – Basic closed circuit.
 
4. AWARENESS OF CLEANLINESS DURING INTERVENTIONS
- Pollution: Origins and types.
 - Filtration: Filter positioning (ISO 4413).
 - Fluids: Characteristics – Classification of oils.
 - Type of alterations.
 
5. BASIC PRINCIPLES OF HOSES AND CONNECTIONS
- Flanges: Types – choice.
 - Hoses: Characteristics – Choice – Fluid accounting – Service life – Brand.
 
6. DESTRUCTIVE PHENOMENA
- Temperature – Cavitation – Wear mechanics.
 
ESSENTIAL: Trainees must bring: PPE
