Checks, Valve Adjustments and Maintenance in Mobile Hydraulics

Objectives

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Understand open circuit operation, technology and control.
  • Make effective use of the technical documentation provided by the manufacturer.
  • Know how to adjust open-loop controls.

Program

1. HY2 SAFETY: INTERVENTIONS ON MACHINES / INSTALLATIONS THAT ARE NOT LOCKED OUT
  • Performance control – Adjustment – Sampling.
  • Sub-assembly exchange (Directional control valves – Hydraulic power unit, etc.).
  • Separation – Tagout.
2. PRINCIPLES OF CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF MACHINE COMPONENTS / APPLICATIONS
  • Pumps and motors: Axial piston and variable displacement systems – Slow-speed engines.
  • Controls: Constant pressure and flow (Load-Sensing) – Load-Sensing and power limitation – Constant power
  • Electronic power control – Negative control and positive control.
  • Directional control valves: 4/3 Load-Sensing (L.S) distribution, open centre and closed centre – Individual balance (Simultaneous movements with or without speed conservation) – Flow-Sharing (L.S) distribution.
  • Hydrostatic steering: Load-sensing closed centre
  • Steering system – Safety block – Principle of electrohydraulic steering.
  • Pressure equipment: Manipulators – Assist pressure – Anti-shock valves with damping – Hose rupture valves – Balancing valves.
  • Symbolisation – Cases of application.
  • Filtration: Causes and sources of contamination – Role of filtration – Filter positioning (ISO 4413).
3. BUILDING CIRCUITS ON POWER SIMULATORS
  • Study of the control and distribution diagram.
  • Operating phases.
  • Control adjustment procedures: Flow cancellation / Constant pressure (CP) – Load-Sensing – Constant power.

ESSENTIAL: Trainees must bring: PPE
