As part of its international training programmes, IFC TRITECH supported the teams at CBNA (Civil & Building North America LLC), a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, on the Potomac River Tunnel project in Washington D.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This major project, which involves several tunnels passing through a variety of geological formations, is being carried out using, in particular, two tunnel boring machines (TBMs) specially adapted to the ground conditions.<\/p>\n\n

Over a two-week period, our trainer worked directly on one of the tunnel-boring machines to train 25 staff members in the principles of mobile hydraulics.<\/p>\n\n

Une formation au plus pr\u00e8s du terrain et des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s du chantier, assur\u00e9e en anglais, au service de la performance et de l\u2019autonomie des \u00e9quipes.<\/p>\n\n
