From Roanne to Washington D.C.: IFC TRITECH’s expertise is making its mark abroad!

As part of its international training programmes, IFC TRITECH supported the teams at CBNA (Civil & Building North America LLC), a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, on the Potomac River Tunnel project in Washington D.C.

This major project, which involves several tunnels passing through a variety of geological formations, is being carried out using, in particular, two tunnel boring machines (TBMs) specially adapted to the ground conditions.

Over a two-week period, our trainer worked directly on one of the tunnel-boring machines to train 25 staff members in the principles of mobile hydraulics.
